Springtime Lingering 春思

Misty mind

Flocks of flamingoes gathering at a green pond surrounded by trees.

Glowing in the dark the springtime mist

induces and imbues

the fragrant dawn on the avenue.

On my mind where preoccupations are few,

thoughts of you form my milieu,

permeate like music by the muse.

Yet there is no comprehensible cue

when the debut of sunshine is due,

when all lives live life anew.

Warm breeze restrains into lingering clouds,

whispering their longing,

recurring like a fugue,

in luminance so dim and diffuse,

waiting for a cure,

if only you knew.

Silhouette of tree with brown-orange leaves, up-above.
Red-brick pavilions and green palm trees, in great sunlight, floating in the middle of the photograph.
